I miss writing...

Blogging seems to be the new way to journal, and to also spread the word about something you'd like to share to those who may want to hear.

I'm very new to this technology, which seems to be changing almost as fast as my brain cells are deteriorating.  But it's fun to try to ride the wave, so here I am.

2009 has been a year of radical changes and growth in our world at large.  For me, it has been a time of learning, stepping back and creatively trying to tackle life from a different angle.  It's ironic, because I crave consistency, love routine, and continuously find myself in flux.  Yet the flux always leads to something new, usually better, and beyond what I had envisioned for myself.  So I have decided someone out there has a plan, and I need to ride this wave, because it is taking me places I need to go.

Not long ago, RightTime KiDS was a few rockin' childcare centers, with great drop-in convenience and flexibility for parents.  It has provided a very comfortable living for those of us who own them.  Now, RightTime KiDS is a franchise opportunity and very excited, spirited and educated individuals from Florida to Alaska, and everywhere in-between are seeking us out.  Growing tired of working for someone else, wondering if a pink slip is hovering nearby... these courageous and savvy men and women are exploring a business of their own.  They want to find something that creates balance for their families....a place where it's not just "ok" to bring the kids to work, it's beneficial!  (My two have provided some of the most valuable feedback about what we offer and how we offer it!)

It's a powerful gift to be holding something that can be shared, knowing how it has the potential to create a life of empowerment, certain freedoms and fun for those who choose to earn a living this way.  I hadn't seen this twist in the journey coming, but it's a great one.
